Asterix & Obelix Games Wiki

Vitalstatistix (French: Abraracourcix) is the chief of the Gaulish village. He has a wife, Impedimenta, a brother, Doublehelix, and a nephew, Justforkix. He is sometimes accompanied by two Gauls who carry him on a shield. Despite his role in the village, he is usually a minor character in the videogames.

Asterix: Caesar’s Challenge[]

In one of the launch cutscenes the chief briefly sums up the game’s plot: he exclaims the Gauls can travel to any part of the Roman Empire they want, and they will do exactly that while also getting souvenirs from different lands.

Asterix: The Gallic War[]

Vitalstatistix only appears in the cinematic cutscenes and does not have in-game appearance.

Asterix: Mega Madness[]

Vitalstatistix appears in some minigames and the cinematic cutscenes. In the minigame Hide and Seek the contestants bring keys to him.

Asterix & Obelix XXL[]

Vitalstatistix appears in Rome behind the large divided arena, near Caesar. After the legions in the arena have been defeated, Asterix and Obelix will meet Vitalstatistix and have a chat, before going to the final boss battle to free his shield bearers.

Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission Las Vegum[]

Vitalstatistix sends Asterix and Obelix to Rome with the goal to find out why Getafix (allegedly) betrayed them.

He does not have in-game appearance.

Asterix Brain Trainer[]

The player can visit Vitalstatistix’s hut to read the game’s rules.

Asterix: These Romans are Crazy![]

Vitalstatistix is one of the 4 characters that can be played as on the board, but there are no minigames with him.

Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods[]

The player needs to approach Vitalstatistix to get new tasks. He is shown with a yellow circle on the village's map before story completion. He has no use after the storyline is finished.

Asterix and Friends[]

Vitalstatistix is replaced by a similar character named Democratix.

Asterix & Obelix XXL 3: The Crystal Menhir[]

Vitalstatistix stops Getafix from going on a journey with Asterix and Obelix.

The player can approach him during gameplay, but, strangely, cannot speak to him.
